I was just checking out the winners of the 2007 Bloggie awards. Can someone explain how it is even remotely possible that Postsecret lost to this pile of crap, in the Best American Blog category, but went on to win Weblog of the Year? How can Flickrblog, a site with no original content that is updated maybe twice a week, win the photography blog award over a site like Stuck in Customs? How can PerezHilton.com win the GBLT award? Just because he is constantly trying to out people the homos wish were gay?
This is what happens when you let the public vote. Popularity is mistaken for quality.
