So this is the original trailer for Star Wars. If I had seen this before the movie I likely wouldn't have gone to the movie. Seriously, I'd have trouble editing together a shittier trailer.
I don't think they knew who they were marketing to. For such a hugely love movie, you're absolutely right - that is the worst trailer for any movie ever. Not only did they miss the point of the movie, but the feel of it, the humor, the... well everything. If I didn't know better I'd have to believe that this wasn't for the same Star Wars I saw.
