Canada's harmless 'poppy quarter' led to spy coin warnings in US

US Army contractors traveling Canada filed confidential espionage reports about a coin from Canada, describing the coins as "anomalous" and filled with something man-made that looked like nano-technology. However, the coin was just a poppy quarter, and the supposed nano-technology actually was a conventional protective coating.
